As an organizational learning specialist, Doug has over 20 years experience helping organizations incorporate leadership intelligence in the workplace and community life. As an expression of the cause-driven consulting practice of The Leadership Center, Doug is on the steering committee of the Harlem Neighborhood Based Services network, directs the networks Youth Leadership Programs and is a technical assistance and leadership advisor to the 40+ children and family serving agencies that comprise it's membership. Since joining the Organization Effectiveness Center at AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1988, Doug has coached both individuals and executive teams for corporate clients such as Bayer, Miles, Shell Chemical, AT&T, GTE, US West, Arthur Andersen, Prudential, BOC Gases, Molson Breweries and ABB. His acumen for transferring corporate business practices into social service cultures has made him a sought-after consultant within the non-profit sector. Specifically, he has consulted for boards and coached the founding principals for cause-driven entities such as Comp2Kids and UrbanMentor.
